Engineering drawings run the physical world. They also quietly slow it down.
I want to quantify something most of us only talk about anecdotally: the current state of engineering drawings. What’s working, what’s painful, and where the real bottlenecks are (creation, review, interpretation, inspection, revisions).
So we put together a short poll. It takes ~3 minutes.
Why fill it out?
We’ll crowdsource the data and publish the results in the next newsletter as a simple benchmark: what teams are doing today, where time gets burned, and what “good” looks like.
And selfishly: the results will directly shape what we build next at Drafter.
One ask: answer honestly, even if your process is messy. That’s the point.
Thanks for helping push the craft forward. We’ll share what we learn in the next newsletter.
Happy engineering,
The Drafter Team
